Follows the protocols of Cynthia Price, PhD, LMT. You learn to stay in the body to develop mindful body awareness, soften tension, release pain and to self-regulate emotions. Useful for recovery from trauma, DV, brain injury, chronic pain, and substance abuse.

This is usually an 8 week series, once a week. It can be extended as necessary. It is a skills-based protocol that brings a sense of empowerment to change your experience of your body and life, using your own awareness and breath.
Ortho-Bionomy® invites your body to relax out of tension and pain patterns. Mindful Awareness in Bodywork Therapy invites mind-body-emotional integration, to release emotionally charged tension patterns that are held in the body, or use the breath and visualization techniques to accelerate healing, with gentle selective massage, body mapping and movement/sensory awareness, customized to your comfort.  

If you are a new client, please allow 15 minutes additional for paperwork.
